Bridget Otoo Appointed Presidential Staffer for Government Communications

Renowned Ghanaian media personality Bridget Otoo has been officially appointed as a Presidential Staffer in charge of Government Communications by former President John Dramani Mahama, as part of preparations for his anticipated return to office under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.
In this new role, Bridget Otoo will work directly with Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Minister of Government Communications and Presidential Spokesperson, to coordinate and strengthen government messaging and public communication strategies.
Announcing her appointment on her official Facebook page, Otoo expressed deep gratitude to President Mahama and First Lady Lordina Mahama for entrusting her with such a critical responsibility. She also acknowledged the unwavering support of Joyce Bawa Mogtari, Special Aide to the President, describing her as someone who made Bridget “a personal project.” Otoo further extended appreciation to Deputy Chief of Staff Stan Xoese Dogbe, and the grassroots members and foot soldiers of the NDC for their continued encouragement and belief in her.

Bridget Otoo emphasized her unwavering dedication to national progress and pledged to use her communication skills to help promote the party’s development agenda. “With all the faith and trust I have in the NDC government, I was deeply honoured to be considered for a role in helping shape its mandate once I was back on my feet,” she wrote.
She described her new appointment as a culmination of years of grit, dedication, and hard work, but also acknowledged it as a privilege. “This appointment to serve at the Seat of Government as a Presidential Staffer for Government Communications is a rare honour. I intend to prove myself worthy for the duration of my service,” she added.
