Renowned Ghanaian broadcaster and passionate gender advocate, Oheneyere Gifty Anti, is marking a special milestone—the 17th anniversary of her iconic television show, The Standpoint, now rebranded as TSP with Gifty Anti. To celebrate, she has embarked on an exciting international tour that highlights the show’s enduring impact and commitment to telling the powerful stories of women from all walks of life.
The rebranding of the show in May 2024 combined two strong brands—Gifty Anti and The Standpoint—bringing fresh energy and deeper insights to its ongoing mission of women’s empowerment.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, Gifty Anti will host two major events in the United States and the United Kingdom. On Saturday, June 21, 2025, she will appear at LIMS African Restaurant in Hagerstown, Maryland, for the event titled “OGA Invades Maryland, Virginia & Washington.” Scheduled between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, the gathering will feature a book signing of her popular children’s book, The Princess and Jazz, as well as African food shopping at the Makola International Market. Attendees will have the chance to meet and interact with Gifty, making it a special family-friendly occasion.
In the United Kingdom, Gifty Anti will headline Chat & Dine with Gifty Anti on Friday, July 11, 2025, which coincides with the exact 17th anniversary of her show. Hosted by Akosua Tiana, the dinner event will celebrate the powerful legacy of TSP with Gifty Anti and its ongoing dedication to uplifting women’s voices.
During her UK visit, she will also participate in several speaking engagements in London and the Midlands, reaching even more audiences as part of her global outreach.
The celebration doesn’t stop there—Gifty Anti will continue her tour in August with a series of book signing events in France, further connecting with fans and supporters across continents.
